The Olympics are officially buzzing, and the Summer Games have kicked off with a bang! Celine Dion made a grand comeback at the Opening Ceremony, and Lady Gaga’s engagement news has everyone talking. As the games rolled on, stars flocked to cheer for star athlete Simone Biles and team USA women’s gymnastics, who nailed their “redemption tour” and snagged gold. Paris continued to sparkle with iconic moments, including the surprise reunion of Jennifer Hudson and Sarah Jessica Parker. It’s been ages since they shared the screen in the first Sex and the City movie back in 2008. Hudson shared the magic on Instagram, letting fans know that Carrie and Louise finally reunited in the city of lights!

Kendall Jenner, supermodel and daughter of an Olympian, hit Paris on Thursday to cheer on Simone Biles and Suni Lee in the women’s gymnastics individual all-around. She rocked a patriotic Ralph Lauren bomber and sported a “closing ceremony cap”—the same one athletes will wear for the official closing ceremony on August 11.

After hitting up a dazzling pre-Olympics bash hosted by Louis Vuitton, five-time Olympian Shaun White and his girlfriend, popular actress- Nina Dobrev stayed in Paris to back Team USA. They both rocked Ralph Lauren for the Opening Ceremony.

Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, co-stars from Wicked, kept the theme alive with vintage-inspired tea-length gowns that matched their characters, Elphaba and Glinda. This isn’t their first nod to the upcoming film—they also embraced the green and pink look for a CinemaCon preview back in April.
